Where do you see yourself in retirement? Superannuation and self-managed super funds can be complex. We can help you better understand contributions, pensions and all your superannuation needs by providing you with the service and advice you need to feel secure.

Many moons ago Superannuation was simply a voluntary savings plan. The problem with this is while it's great to look to the future, many of us like to live in the moment; so much so that the Government became concerned about those of us tha tlike to live life on the edge, and in 1992 made Superannuation contributions mandatory.

Nowadays, it is an accepted part of our working lives, with Super taking up to 10% of your salary package.

Generally, employers are required by law to pay Super contributions of at least 9.5% of your annual salary into your Super account. In most cases you can't withdraw you Super until you reach the appropriate age (this differs depending on your birthdate). This is intended to help you in your retirement, but this amount may not cover you for all you need.

This is why the Government encourages you to take responsibility for reaching your financial retirement goals. Do you know what they are? Where do you see yourself in retirement? And what is the right amount of contributions you should be making based on this? Speaking to one of our advisers will help.
