Eligible businesses can  apply for a $10,000 grant as part of the Victorian State Government’s economic survival package. Funding can be used to assist with business costs such as utilities, salaries and rent, seeking business advice and other supporting operational activities.

Small businesses are eligible if they:

  • employ staff
  • have been subject to closure or are highly impacted by Victoria’s Non-Essential Activity Directions issued by the Deputy Chief Health Officer
  • have a turnover of more than $75,000
  • have payroll of less than $650,000
  • Hold an Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • Have been carrying out the operation of the business in Victoria on 16 March 2020.

The above eligibility requirements will need to be certified in writing and are subject to audit.

How to apply
You will need to fill out an online application form and provide a copy of your most recent Business Activity Statement (BAS) and other supporting materials as relevant.
Click on the “apply now” button on the Business Victoria website to begin the process.
