myGovID has changed to myID

Remember all that confusion we had about MyGov and MyGovID?

Well, the Government listened, and they have now changed MyGovID to myID.

Still confused? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here’s what you need to know:

• myID is the new name for the platform which helps you login and connect to your Government services. The app has a new look, but the functionality is the same.
• If you haven’t accessed myID already, there’s nothing you need to do to prepare for the change, your login details will remain the same. In fact, your existing app should have already automatically updated to myID.
• My ID still provides the same level of access to services you previously did, such as the ATO, Medicare and RAM.

Hopefully the new platform will reduce confusion and help us to continue to access the services required.
