Thanks Active Geelong we loved our "Move more in August 2024" challenge and highly recommend active challenges to add some healthy and fun opportunities to your workplace!West Carr & Harvey's 'Move More in August 2024' Challenge 🌟Earlier this year, the team at West Carr & Harvey ran a workplace challenge to encourage staff to be more active for the month of August.Over 30 participants set their own fitness goals, from kickboxing and pilates to dog walking and hiking, all while tracking their progress on a spreadsheet (in true accounting style). To add an extra layer of motivation, for every participant who achieved their goal by the end of the month, West Carr & Harvey made a donation to the charity of their choice, making donations to several local not-for-profits 🙌 They also ran a photo-of-the-week competition, where participants submitted photos of their activities for a chance to win a Rebel Sport gift voucher! This challenge is a great example of how a workplace can promote and encourage physical activity through supportive leadership and employee participation! Well done to everyone involved in setting up this challenge and thank you to the team at West Carr & Harvey for your ongoing support and commitment to the objectives of Active Geelong!Does your workplace do similar active challenges throughout the year?
